Certass’ Competent Person Scheme (CPS) registered, approved members can certify their installations to current Building Regulations as an alternative to using Building Control.

Certass Competent Person Scheme is authorised by MHCLG
The business meets the requirements of the MHCLG licence terms to self-certify installations under regulations 4 & 7 of the Building Regulations effective in England and Wales. The business also has suitable business management systems, consumer financial protection and trained site operatives to meet the MHCLG Conditions of Authorisation.

Registered members of the Certass CQ-Assured Workmanship Scheme can self-certify that their installations meet appropriate workmanship standards and codes of practice. CQ covers a whole range of home improvements, so if you offer more than one service, this is the certification for you. CQ-Assured members also get free TrustMark membership.

Thermal Ratings Register
Installers who are registered with any of our Certass glazing schemes can also join our Thermal Ratings Register installer scheme allowing the installation company to provide WER labels in their company details.
