NHIC Awards 2009 (Now Closed)
In
line with Certass’s ethos for technical excellence and consumer confidence
we have decided to become part of the NHIC (National Home Improvement Council)
initiative for home improvements. NHIC awards have been gathering momentum
for more than 33 years, thus are considered very prestigious. Certass is
therefore extremely honoured to be able to deliver to you the Certass Glazing
award – for ‘Down our Street’. ‘The public award’
Format for entries
The entries should contain the following information:
- Name
- Organisation or company contact name
- Address
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Title of the project
- A short summary of approximately 20-340 words describing the project. Followed by a more detailed description of the project – approximately 800 – 1000 words. The detailed description should be either a MS Word or PDF document.
The objective or purpose of the project
Your description of the project should include the current situation, the proposed solution and the actual fulfilment. Mention should also be made of any special initiatives such as energy efficiency and the needs of the community, together with the impact it has had on the adjoining area.
Although not obligatory, a separate booklet showing photographs and plans of the submissions will be helpful for the judges. (This part can be returned if requested.) It would be greatly appreciated if participants could kindly follow this format as it assists judges in their deliberations.

What do I need to do now?
Simply complete the Entry Form, with any supplementary information attached in pdf format. The final closing date for complete entry forms and submissions if Friday 9th October 2009.
Judging will take place soon afterwards and the Awards are presented by a Government Minister at a very special luncheon in London on Wednesday 18th November 2009.
