We believe it is the best value scheme on the market, offering multiple certification scopes for a low cost monthly fee, and including many benefits such as legal helplines and marketing support, all underpinned by our friendly, helpful staff.

Simply choose the level of Certification required on the application form and we will assess your company against the scheme requirements. Following a successful desktop and on-site audit we will issue the appropriate certification.

Glazing

Audits are carried out according to the following schedule:

On application
& annually >

> We carry out a desktop review of your membership. Checking you have appropriate insurance, skilled site operatives, legal status and we have up to date contact information.

On application
& every 3 years >

> We carry out an on-site head office audit. Checking your personnel are suitably qualified, complaints logs and appropriate records are kept, a sample of job files and an on-site audit of installation work.

Annually >
Annually

> We check a percentage sample of work registered with our scheme to ensure the installation meets scheme requirements.

SCHEMES IN DETAIL >

COMP_PERSON

Domestic and non-domestic replacement windows and doors.

This scheme type allows a company registered with us to self-certify its installations to current Building Regulations as an alternative to using Building Control.

SCOPE OF CERTIFICATION >

Provision and maintenance of a suitable level of management systems, processes, consumer financial protection, and trained site operatives to meet the DCLG Conditions of Authorisation.

The business registered meets the requirements of the DCLG license terms to self-certify installations under regulations 4 & 7 of the Building Regulations effective in England and Wales and is registered with the Certass certification scheme.

An on-site audit has taken place; at this point the contractor may advertise and market it’s services as a competent person scheme installer.

Our Competent Person Scheme is operated under direct license from DCLG (Department for Communities and Local Government).

GREEN_DEAL

Energy efficient windows, doors and Draught Proofing.

This scheme type allows a company registered with us to install Energy Efficient Measures which is also used for assessing installer competence for undertaking ECO work.

SCOPE OF CERTIFICATION >

Provision and maintenance of a suitable level of management systems, processes, consumer financial protection, and trained site operatives to meet the requirements of PAS2030.

The business registered meets the requirements of PAS2030 to install Energy Efficient Measures. The installing company will be able to install measures under ECO requirements.

Our PAS2030 Energy Efficient Measure scheme is UKAS accredited. To gain certification you must have a current copy of PAS2030 and operate a Quality Management system in-line with the PAS2030 requirements.

TRUST_MARK

Window Installers and Glaziers

(Additional scopes can be added – see our General Contractors page for details). This scheme is a Government endorsed ‘Trusted Trader’ scheme designed to give consumers confidence when selecting a ‘Tradesman’.

SCOPE OF CERTIFICATION >

Provision and maintenance of a suitable level of management systems, processes and workmanship standards to meet the TrustMark scheme requirements.

The business registered meets the requirements of the TrustMark scheme in relation to complaints handling, issuing of consumer contracts, liability insurance requirements, guarantee issue and workmanship.

THERMAL_RATING

SCOPE OF CERTIFICATION >

Provision and maintenance of a suitable level of management systems, processes and thermal calculations to meet the TRR scheme requirements.

The business registered meets the requirements of the TRR scheme in relation to submission calculated data for the thermal performance of its window and door products conforming to the requirements of EN10077-1 & 2 and suitable management processes for production of window and door products from order to customer delivery.

The business registered meets the requirements of the Certass scheme in relation to having; complaints handling policy, consumer contract, Pubic and Employer liability insurance requirements and guarantee wording. No on-site inspection has taken place and the company is not registered to self-certify under the building regulations.
