Certass Membership

Certass is a Competent Person Scheme covering the installation of replacement windows, doors and associated glazing products in domestic properties, and is licensed by the Department for Communities and Local Government. Membership of Certass enables contractors to self-certify installations after which, Certass will issue the Building Regulation Compliance Certificates to the homeowners.

The Certass membership year runs from the date of initial approval and so each contractor's annual period will be unique.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD ALL ASPECTS OF THE REGISTRATION PACK AND SIGNED THE APPLICATION FORM BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION TO THE ADDRESS BELOW. FAXED OR SCANNED APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

You must include the following items when submitting your application as failure to do so will result in your application being delayed or possibly returned.

1. Completed Application Form (please print clearly and accurately in capital letters)
2. Registration fee of £60.00 (£50.00 plus VAT)
3. Completed Direct Debit Mandate
4. Copy of Consumer Contract (to include seven day cooling-off period)
5. Copies of your Employers Liability (minimum £10 million) and Public Liability (minimum £2m) insurance policies
